I have been living much more freely lately. Less planning. Less doing doing doing.
Yeah I can't even begin to explain BUT I have some great news as far as our meals go!
I have been making the most amazing meals. Healthy meals. Easy meals.
Trying new things.. new snacks.. new healthier options.
But in the creation of all these things new I HAVE NOT been planning a menu ahead of time.
I am just going with the flow of what I am wanting to make at the time.
It sounds ridiculous but it's working for me and I don't plan on changing something if it's working especially if it's working well!!!
But in order to keep the menus coming I am just going to back track.
That way I am sharing meals that we are actually having instead of feeling like I have to live up to my prepared menu.
Sometimes I have planned a few days a head but I'm also finding that just making small market trips every few days is saving us a lot more money than trying to buy ingredients for meals that I've already planned.
There was a time that it worked well for me to plan ahead that way but I am finding as things are changing.. we are eating healthier.. this routine just works better.
I am also able to take advantage of more sales by not nailing myself down to one shopping day.
I have tons and tons of meals ready to be shared!
